Chemex Variant No. 2

A slightly different variation of the Chemex coffee maker. This one has the green Pyrex stamp on the upper rim and the embossed Chemex patent number opposite, but it extends into the the rim. The embossed stamp is smaller in size and pressed deeply into the glass The 3 feet are located at the outer edges of the base and there are no graduated marks on the side. However, the "bellybutton" is present. Birch handles appear original and have the characteristic "X" pattern in the wood grain. The leather is the thicker variety and the ball has lost most of its original finish.

The embossed stamp is large in size and not very deep into the glass The 3 feet are located at the outer edges of the base and 3 graduated marks are on the side in addition to the "bellybutton". Birch handles appear original and have the characteristic "X" pattern in the wood grain. The leather is the thinner variety and the ball has lost all its original finish.
